Amity Institute of Training & Development’s (AITD) Unconscious Bias Program will give deep knowledge to participants regarding the origination of unconscious bias and its impact on behaviour. As part of this programme, trainees will learn strategies for recognising personal biases, the way it affects workplace interactions and how to reduce the influences of such biases. As a final step, participants are going to explore the overall impact of unconscious bias upon organisational culture and employee engagement.

- Understand unconscious bias as a concept affecting the culture at work and decisions.
- Know types of unconscious bias, including: affinity bias, confirmation bias, and gender bias.
- Develop ways to recognize and manage bias in everyday issues and in the decision-making processes.
- Discover how unconscious biases are played out in recruitment, promotion, performance review, and teamwork.
- Learn to work towards an inclusive and fairer workplace through minimizing unconscious bias.
This Unconscious Bias Programme helps trainees learn to recognise and manage biases. Participants will acquire the skills to create an inclusive workplace through interactive discussions, case studies, and real-life examples.
