ToggleWith COVID-19 changing consumer sentiment and lifestyle, it has also accelerated the adaptation of technology in the retail industry. Retailers who digitise their workforce, enabling employee engagement and productivity, will likely create cost savings that can be redirected into customer experiences. Both online & physical stores are likely to embrace immersive technologies and intelligence to understand consumer psychology and requirements. Organisations are adjusting to how work gets done, exploring new ways of working and leveraging technology as immediate priorities.
Organisations need to take a proactive stance in understanding how work will be done in the future and how that shift impacts the workforce, how it should be organised, and how to maximise impact to drive the business forward. To understand the work culture, business environment, reporting structures, technological innovations and their impact on the future of work at large, we have invited Mr Ranjit Khompi, Head of L&D – Fashion & Lifestyle Business, Reliance Retail, to our Leadership Studio.
Organisations today are undergoing structural and strategic transformations in how work is defined, delivered, and evaluated. There is an urgent need for proactive planning around:
How the future of work will unfold in the retail sector.
The evolving work culture and reporting structures in the digital era.
Technological innovations driving efficiency and employee empowerment.
Developing future-ready skills and enabling performance.
Leveraging automation and AI to boost customer and employee experiences.
