Managing Through Crisis: Lessons From Military Strategies Workshop
Managing Through Crisis Lessons From Military Strategies

Workshop Overview

Crisis situations often arrive unannounced—be it in the form of operational failures, external threats, or global disruptions. In such moments, the pressure to respond swiftly, lead decisively, and safeguard people and purpose becomes paramount. While civilian organisations may struggle to navigate these high-stakes scenarios, the military has long honed the art of planning, leadership, and execution under pressure. This webinar explores how time-tested military strategies can offer powerful lessons in crisis preparedness, response, and resilience—equipping businesses with tools to thrive even in uncertainty.

A crisis can strike any company, organisation and country without warning, creating a situation marked by the stress of sudden change, uncertainty and disruption. Militaries have inherent capabilities to deal with crisis situations ranging from external threats to natural disasters. Crisis management can be as tough as fighting a war. What lessons can businesses and civilian organisations learn from military strategy for managing unforeseen and unpredictable crises?
