Mental Health & Wellness at the
Hybrid Workplace

The onset of COVID-19 has taken a massive toll on the employees’ mental health. It has brought the importance of healthboth physical and mental to the center stage of the corporate agenda. It exacerbated the employees’ feelings of anxieties, fears, and depression brought mental health issues to the fore, and highlighted the insufficiency of our present employee assistance and benefits systems. According to a recent report - almost 62% of employees globally believe mental health issues have been one of the biggest challenges at work during last one and a half years. According to a global study by Mind Share Partners in association with SAP and Qualtrics, 42 per cent of employees have reported a decline in their mental health since the pandemic began.

The workforce is the most valuable asset for any organization. A psychologically healthy employee helps the organization in driving it forward and ensure sustainable success. Thus, organizations are focusing on implementing comprehensive wellness programs. It takes into consideration the different aspects of their life that empowers the employees in handling stressful situations and maximize productivity to stay competitive.

Maj. Pallavi Shivanna, brings in 23 years of cross cultural work experience in defence and corporate sector.

Currently she is working at Fincare Small Finance Bank in the capacity of VP-HR. She's an ex Army officer and worked in various capacities across different industries. She is skilled in Negotiation, Budgeting, Talent Management, System Administration and Recruitment.

Strong human resources professional with a PGCBA in HR from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. A university topper and recipient of Gold Medal for Bachelors in Psychology. She is a trainee in Psychotherapy for the last 6 years and is very passionate about creating awareness on mental and emotional wellbeing.

Ashish combines project management skills with a rich legacy of training background to manage learning and development interventions of complex nature with sensitivity to client needs.

He has lead training projects for more than 50,000 personnel so far. Prior to joining Amity group, he has worked with NIS Sparta (Reliance ADAG), Godrej, Ricoh India & Modi group companies with a rich experience of Training & Development, Operations, Key Account & Channel Management.

He has successfully trained personnel on Leadership Skills, Team Building, Selling Skills, Customer Service Excellence and had also been instrumental in Performance Coaching. Successfully lead significant large scale nationwide training projects of Public & Private Sector Banks, Election Commission, Commonwealth Games, Samsung, Sony Ericsson & Reliance Communication.
