The onset of COVID-19 has taken a massive toll on the employees’ mental health. It has brought the importance of healthboth physical and mental to the center stage of the corporate agenda. It exacerbated the employees’ feelings of anxieties, fears, and depression brought mental health issues to the fore, and highlighted the insufficiency of our present employee assistance and benefits systems. According to a recent report - almost 62% of employees globally believe mental health issues have been one of the biggest challenges at work during last one and a half years. According to a global study by Mind Share Partners in association with SAP and Qualtrics, 42 per cent of employees have reported a decline in their mental health since the pandemic began.
The workforce is the most valuable asset for any organization. A psychologically healthy employee helps the organization in driving it forward and ensure sustainable success. Thus, organizations are focusing on implementing comprehensive wellness programs. It takes into consideration the different aspects of their life that empowers the employees in handling stressful situations and maximize productivity to stay competitive.

She is a trainee in Psychotherapy for the last 6 years and is very passionate about creating awareness on mental and emotional wellbeing.
